About Tresora
Cash is not the problem. Handling it badly is.
Britain still runs on notes in thousands of businesses — and the cost of banking them has quietly doubled while the branches disappeared. Tresora exists to put that right on your premises.
Why we started
Every cash business we met was paying three times for the same money: once to the bank in deposit fees, once in staff hours counting and queueing, and once in shrinkage and the occasional counterfeit nobody could trace. Most of them could tell you the first cost and had never added up the other two.
The technology to fix it — validating safes, insured collection, same-day settlement — was already mature and largely sold to supermarkets. Tresora brings it to the businesses that need it more and were quoted for it least.
How we price
One blended rate, agreed in writing, with your projected annual saving on the same page as the number you are being asked to sign. If the saving is not there, we say so — a quote that does not save you money is not a quote worth sending.
There is nothing on a Tresora invoice that was not on the quote. That is the whole of the pricing philosophy.
“Every note accounted for. Every deposit provable.”
Cash rules are tightening across Europe — transaction caps, reporting duties, and banks asking cash businesses to evidence source of funds. A machine-validated, time-stamped deposit ledger turns that from a threat into paperwork you already have.
What we are careful about
- Know-your-customer checks before a machine goes in, not after.
- An independent record of every deposit, exportable for your accountant or your bank.
- Insured collection by established national cash-in-transit operators.
- Written rates, written terms, and a saving figure we are willing to be held to.
